At just 21 years old, Opal’s journey to the crown has been nothing short of inspiring. A native of Phuket, she is currently pursuing a degree in Political Science at Thammasat University. Fluent in Thai, English, and Mandarin Chinese, Opal impressed the judges not just with her elegance and poise, but with her heartfelt advocacy project titled “OpalForHer”, which focuses on breast cancer awareness and early detection.

Her passion stems from a deeply personal experience—at the age of 16, Opal was diagnosed with a benign breast tumor, an ordeal that shaped her advocacy work. Her mission to empower women to prioritize their health resonated with audiences around the world, earning her both admiration and the ultimate crown.

The competition was fierce, with women from over 100 countries participating. The final results were as follows:

Hosting Miss World for the third time, India rolled out a colorful, culturally immersive experience in the city of Hyderabad, blending heritage with modern flair.

As part of the Miss World 2025 journey in India, contestants were immersed in the country’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage through a series of meaningful experiences. A truly soul-stirring moment awaited them at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ramappa Temple in Mulugu, Telangana, where the contestants draped themselves in traditional sareesand joined local women in celebrating the vibrant Bathukamma festival, a floral tribute to womanhood and Telangana culture.

They engaged in regional craft workshops, savored Telugu cuisine, and met with local entrepreneurs, giving them a deep understanding of India’s vibrant culture.

In the artisan village of Pochampally, famous globally for its intricate IKAT handwoven sarees, contestants witnessed the skill of local weavers and learned about sustainable textile craftsmanship. The journey continued to Yadagirigutta, where they offered prayers at the sacred Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, absorbing the spiritual energy of the place.

The grand finale of Miss World 2025, hosted by Stephanie Del Valle and Sachiin Kumbhar, featured dazzling performances by Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khatter, whose dance to BTS’s “Mic Drop” went viral. A special highlight was the Miss World Humanitarian Award presented to Sonu Sood for his unwavering service to society, especially during the COVID-19 crisis. Sonu dedicated the honor to resilient mothers, struggling students, and migrant workers, further solidifying his legacy as a real-life hero.
