Elan & ηVision 2023 – IIT Hyderabad

ABOUT : 

Elan & ηVision is the annual techno-cultural fest of IIT Hyderabad, and it is back with its 14th edition, which is going to be completely offline. The most anticipated and grandiose festival of IIT Hyderabad is back with a conglomerate of splendiferous events to galvanize the mob. Since its inception, its fervid tendrils have touched the hearts of every adroit organizer and participant leaving a legacy to be upheld by its family of dedicated students. 

Elan & nVision is an elegant brew of culture, innovation, and feverish exhilaration stimulating an atmosphere of intense competitions and professional performances. With a carefully fabricated range of events, covering varied genres in art, music, and technology, we have something for everyone.The festival lasts for three days and is held every February. This festival provides a wealth of chances for students who want to demonstrate their technical proficiency and artistic ability in related cultural fields. Students come from a variety of institutions across the nation and leave with a plethora of memories and experiences. 

The 14th edition of this 3-day extravaganza celebrates the notion of mystic powers and magic and promises to leave you enchanted with the theme “Secrets of Valenrow”. The 14th edition will begin on 17th February. The social cause theme of this year is ‘Ikshana– Save animals. 

PROSHOWS: 

Elan & ηVision 2023 has an exciting line-up of celebrities. The first in a series of gigs will be performed by Anand Bhaskar Collective, an Indian Indie band also known as “ABC” or “The Collective” on the first day of the fest (17th February). The band is known for their power-packed performances with music featuring 

an eclectic blend of Indian Classical elements and a dominant Alternative Rock Sound. Singer/Composer Gajendra Verma is ready to perform and set the stage ablaze with his voice. Of course, the evening wouldn’t be complete without his iconic song “Tera Ghata”. 

Aashish Solanki, the winner of Comicstaan season 3 is all set to send the audience into fits of laughter with his amazing comedic timing. 

The last day of the fest (19th February), is going to feature India’s most followed and the first person to play at Tomorrowland, DJ Shaan with energetic and electrifying remixes of the music and give a blast to the EDM Night. 

GUESTS: 

Actress Amala Akkineni will be attending the fest to speak on the subject of our social cause and to emphasize the value of animal lives. 

Sesha Kanthamraju, the CEO of Ramoji Film City, the largest film studio in the world, will discuss his views on the subject of “Creative thinking inside the box.”

EVENTS AND COMPETITIONS: 

The entire campus will be decorated with numerous props and decorations that reflect the festival’s theme. A fest wouldn’t be the same without the enjoyable activities we enjoy while ambling through the streets of the lavishly themed campus, where interesting events are taking place all the time. Here is a list of a select few online and offline events that will take place throughout the fest. 

The Cryptex: 

They have this amazing online treasure hunt organized by the Litr Domain of the fest. Also, they organized an Online LitFest last month. 

Breakfree: 

Hip-hop group dance competition in association with the Indian Hip-Hop Dance Championship. They will be having their Hyderabad Audition round during the fest. The prize money for the same is worth 63k. 

Quizenrow: 

It’s Valenrow’s thrilling quizzing extravaganza, which takes its name from the fest. They will have questions based on the OTT platform, India, sports, and General knowledge. 

Robo Soccer: 

A thrilling opportunity for all soccer and robotics enthusiasts. Build your own robots and make them compete with other robots. They have exciting prices of worth 40K. 

Glitz and Glamour: 

It’s time for all glam enthusiasts and modeling aspirants to show off their style on the ramp. They have model Anil Rathod as their jury for Glitz and Glamour So Star Auditions.

Drift King, Picelectric, Sugar Rocketry, App Development, Pixel Lens, Nrityanjali, Filmfare Fiesta, Irshaad, CAD Pro, Machina Doctrinas, Champ of Ramp, Doodle Art, Maze Explorer, Rap Battle, Game Jams, DJ Wars are just a few of the various activities and competitions that are scheduled.
