Social Activist Karan Gupta receives an award for ‘Outstanding contribution to Education’ at the National Education Awards, 2016.

On 23 June 2016, at the Taj Land’s End Hotel in Mumbai at the 7th National Education Awards 2016, Social Activist Karan Gupta received an award for ‘Outstanding contribution to Education’

Since the past 17 years, Gupta, a graduate of Harvard Business School and IE Business School, has helped thousands of students with their education and career goals with his path breaking innovations in education. He works with students and institutes and conducts various psychometric tests such as the MBTI, MBTI Step II, MMTIC and Strong. He helps students with their career options including preparing career charts and brain maps. Several of the assessments that he conducts are administered in English and local languages such as Hindi. Students who cannot afford to pay for their education or these assessments can approach his non-profit foundation for financial assistance. Gupta has been working as an overseas education consultant and study abroad counsellor since 1999. He is the founder of Karan Gupta Education Foundation (KGEF) and Karan Gupta Consulting (KGC).

“It is an honour to receive this prestigious award. A lot still needs to be done to help students with their careers and I am grateful to make a difference in so many lives. Education is a basic human right and no one should be denied a quality education,” says Gupta.
