French Embassy Awards Indian Student The Charpak Exchange Scholarship

Recently, an Indian student named Akanksha Kumar won Charpak Exchange Scholarship 2022 by Campus France. Akansha Kumar is a 4th-year Jewellery Design student, studying at ARCH College of Design & Business.

Charpak Exchange Scholarship is a French government scholarship programme in India. It is offered in the form of 3 sub-programmes. Under this scholarship programme, Indian students can choose to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels in public and private institutions in France.

The programme is designed in such a way that students from all fields and streams of study, studying in Indian institutions at the Bachelors’s or Master’s level, can apply for an exchange semester programme.

Additionally, 8 more students of ARCH have received scholarships of excellence. This has won them the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), the UK which is going to let them complete their final degree year in Interior and Graphic Design.

Further, students will also be given the choice to continue their studies in the UK as a 1 year Master’s program. They will get an opportunity to build their experience through internships too, secure serious employment and earn for the duration stated by the UK government.
