These quirky gadgets need to be a part of your collection

Roku Streaming Stick

While the original Roku Streaming Stick was introduced back in 2012, the latest one fixes glitches that existed in the older model and is a must have for movie and TV serial lovers. This little device allows you to search across top channels by title, genre, actor and even director using the simple remote that comes with it. All you have to do is plus your stick into the HDMI or USB slot in your television and you’re good to go. What we love about it, is that you don’t need a subscription to enjoy the Roku Streaming Stick.

Google Home

Trust Google to outdo itself to make our lives easier.  The smart speaker comes with an intelligent personal assistant which is even better than Google Now. Google Assistant as it is called is able to engage in two way conversations. The device also includes home automation as its main feature which allows users to use it as a central hub to control all devices. Google Home has partnered with Nest, Smart Things, Philips Hue and IFTTT for smart home device control and also connects to multiple home speakers wirelessly and can reach multiple rooms.

Polaroid Zip Instant Mobile Printer

This is one of our favourite finds. The Polaroid Zip Instant Mobile Printer has made it that much easier for us to print our favourite memories or that important document on the go, straight from our smart phones using Bluetooth or NFC technology. Using the ZINK Zerok Ink printing, we got photo quality, full-colour images without the ribbons, toner and even ink cartridges. The best part? The instant printer gives you 2×3” full-colour smudge proof photos that come with a sticky back which make for fun stickers on the go.
