In 2016, COEP Technological University introduced Impressions, an annual cultural fest  designed to celebrate creativity with the motto “By the artist, for the artist.” What began as a  simple effort to provide a stage for emerging talent has blossomed into a dynamic  celebration of artistic expression . Impressions is not just a festival, it’s a platform where  budding artists find recognition, and creativity thrives. With its focus on cultural acceptance  and artistic freedom, it continues to inspire and empower young artists year after year.

This year Impressions presents it’s 9th Edition, under the theme ‘रंगरेज़ : The Artist Within’  on 17th 18th & 19th December 2024 for COEP students.

Impressions ’24 promises an unforgettable experience with its exciting lineup of events. From  lively proshows to 12 thrilling competitions spread across six diverse modules, the fest is set  to dazzle participants and audiences alike. Impressions’24 began with immense enthusiasm as  the much anticipated event ‘Under 25’ brought vibrant energy to the stage, showcasing  incredible talents like Pashmina Roshan, Harsh Rane, Bendi, and Prasad Vidhate. Adding a  meaningful dimension, last year they introduced the welfare initiative, ‘Muskaan’ designed to  uncover hidden talents and spread joy, with impactful pre-events such as a Children’s Day  celebration, at Dnyandeep Balgruha. They are planning to carry forward this campaign in the  upcoming editions and trying to create an impact on the community. A musical band  performance of ‘The Youngsters’ at the event, ‘Raahi’ at the COEP Hostel left everyone in  awe. Impressions is a celebration of talent, creativity, and the spirit of togetherness, making it  the cultural highlight of the year.

Impressions’24 offers a vibrant platform for artists across various fields. In the Music module,  competitions like Saavani, and Stay Tuned celebrate vocal and musical instrument mastery.  The Dance module features Dance Dil Se, Step It Up, and Nrityangana , showcasing diverse  dance forms. In the Art & Craft module, Game of Shades, Coloursplash, and Cirkala focus  on creative expressions through painting, pencil sketching and Mandala art. The Drama module  presents Scene-Sational, highlighting acting skills. The COEP Open Mic module features two  rounds namely Evening Echoes and All COEP Radio, giving a voice to performers. Finally,  the Camera module invites artists to participate in Lensart and Reelscapes, offering a platform  for visual storytelling.

After the resounding success of having Mr. Nikhil D’Souza in their second in-house concert,  Impressions’24 is gearing up for another thrilling experience. Anticipation surges as they  prepare to welcome yet another illustrious celebrity to grace our upcoming fest. Following last  year’s astounding 12,000 footfall, they’re all set for an even grander turnout this year. This year  Impressions’24 has some amazing proshows lined up. Experience The Sufi Night with the Jogi  Experience, a breathtaking musical journey, followed by the soul-stirring show of Shubh  Mukherjee and his band, Maahi. Brace yourselves for Impressions’24 that promises to surpass  expectations.

See you all there!
