What’s Inside The Sugar Box?

With all new forms of modernized pampering packed away in little boxes today, Pearl Mathias opens up the SUGAR BOX to see what makes it stand out

For those of you who haven’t heard about it yet, the Sugar Box is an exciting and novel subscription service, which is a theme-based gift box for all those who want to pamper themselves. It brings you an exclusive service of handpicked goodies by a team of specialized in-house stylists, which is then delivered to your doorstep at the end of every month.

Sugar Box has a specific theme each month which is disclosed at the beginning of each month, while the contents are revealed upon the delivery of the box. The themes could be seasonal or be built around a special occasion. Each box has an array of products to offer mainly in the category of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and gourmet. Within the four different categories, the box surprises the receiver with different gifts each time. Thus, Sugar Box also gives emerging and existing brands an opportunity to showcase their products to the subscribers.

25-year-old Niharika Jhunjhwala, who graduated from the London School of Economics is the founder of this exciting venture. She says, “I am a firm believer that we don’t need a special occasion to gift ourselves something and nor should time be a reason to keep us away from the pampering we deserve. Through Sugar Box, we bring to you a one-stop-shop surprise box and all you have to do is subscribe and be ready to be showered with monthly gifts”.

My Sugar Box arrived in pristine white and wrapped up in a beautiful red ribbon which had me all excited just looking at it. Amongst the alluring contents was a beautiful cream colored handbag, which I could match perfectly with most of my outfits, a gold charm bracelet and a golf floral hairband, which were oh so cute, along with a bright pink colored off-shoulder top which was luckily the perfect fit for me.

It’s perfect to team up with my ripped jeans on one of these sunny days. There was also a pretty jute hat inside, that is ideal for this time of the year. The last of my gifts was a Pump Skin face wash by Gulnare. This creamy pumpkin cleanser was so light on my skin and left it feeling smooth and refreshed. All in all, I was very pleased with my box.

The main USP of Sugar Box is that it provides its subscribers with full-sized products and each box has a value of more than double of what you pay for. Also, the box is delivered at the end of the month to give you a retail pick-me-up when you are out of money – a gift to yourself!

In addition to gifting yourself, the box can be purchased as a gift for your loved ones as well. Also, one can purchase single products from the website once the box has been revealed.

All in all, not only is Sugar Box economical, but it is an instant pick me up as well!
